Hi, I’m Brenda! I live on the beautiful western north coast of California, where the ocean and rivers remind me that life, no matter how unpredictable, always keeps moving forward.

And I’ve had my share of storms.

I was a single mom who raised three incredible kids with

—not even a $20 bill to make things a little easier. I worked low-income jobs, juggled unpaid bills, and somehow made it work. I’ve been through

divorce, domestic violence, financial theft, and even wrongful foreclosure

losing things I worked so hard for. Life hasn’t been easy, but I’ve never let it break me.

I fought, I survived, and I’m still standing.

For the past 17 years, I’ve also been raising my AWESOME diva granddaughter, who’s now preparing to head off to college. I want to support her, give her opportunities, and ensure that she never has to fight the way I did just to survive. But my seasonal job as a

log scaler isn’t enough to make that happen. I love what I do, but I know it’s time for something bigger.

2025 is my year to get me back.

I’m stepping into a future where I am in control.

I’ve also been building my

dream bedroom and bathroom

—a personal sanctuary, a symbol of stability. But, like many dreams, reality hit hard. Costs skyrocketed, and I found myself stuck, unable to move forward. That frustration lit a fire in me. I needed
